As Albert’s grandchildren we would like to build up a history of Albert and his pals using the information saved and built up over the years by our grandmother Doris Modley. We like to think that any lover of variety and music hall, comedy and pantomime will enjoy our website devoted to Albert Modley.
Did you know?
Albert was originally trained by his father to be an instructor in physical training, as a result he won the amateur boxing championship of Yorkshire in 1917. He was also a wharfdale diving champion.
